Discussion: Big Black

Way before their time. guitar shards and driving machine music with melody (?). Good to hear shellac are still pushing the boundaries. Todays DJ's could could learn something other than 180 b.p.m.
Albini may have name for being difficult but has always stayed true to DIY ethic.

I've only just stumbled across Big Black and am really enjoying it. Can anyone recommend a decent site so I can work out the relationship between Shellac, Big Black and Rapeman? Its all still rather vague to me.

one of the greatest underground bands ever. surprised it even came up on this site. Rapeman records are rare, so pick 'em up if you see them. bass player for the jesus lizard plays on the Rapeman records, i think, or maybe it was the drummer.
