Hello, I'm so sad We just have losen the only french website about BJH.
It's pretty difficult to exprim what this music brings to you, it's a bit like the Floyd but with
cheerfulness in more and success in less, let's say the Floyd are the Scientists of the sound and Barclay the master of melody!
Enjoy.
Love and Good Music.

I'm a Portuguese fan of this band.
I simply adore all the songs, all the melodies and even the silence bettween each song.

Without a doubt in my mind this is the best band ever !!!!!
Who says simplicity is not worthy of listening to ?
Barclay's music touches my soul like no other music does.
I don't know why, I just know it DOES .
Time Honored Ghosts is my favorite album of this band.
and SUICIDE is my favorite song althoug I like all of their songs and albums.

BJH's music is very much the soundtrack to my life - especially in my younger days - I first bought Turn of the Tide in 1983 and then Live Tapes - From then - when I was 17 - I would get a new BJH album every couple of months - untill I had 15 of them - Poor man's Moody Blues was used as the soundtrack to our wedding video. It is a pity that their music is not more widely heard on the radio. And a further pity that the members do not tour the UK

I grew up with BJHs beautiful melodies in my ears. there's a moving sense off sadness in their music. Les's fretless bass, John's screaming guiter, Mel's brilliant timing and last but not least woolly's keyboards to weave it all together.
I wish they would rejoin.
Pity that few people in the UK know about them.
