Banda Black Rio has new formation. It was re-lauched by William Magalhaes (Oberdan Magalhaes's Son. The new disc is called Movimento (Moving). Check this out.

I loved the new CD of the Black Rio Band called Rebirth. The funky-soul-samba swing continues with the son of the legendary Oberdan Magalhaes. Check the songs "Carrossel" (one of the best love songs I have ever heard) and "Magia do Prazer" and "Tomorrow".

The name of the players are:

Claudio Rosa, he is one of the best bass player of Brazil. He is a great guy. He also play with Alexandre Pires - a singer that has a great sucess in USA. He lives in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro. The drumers is Chocolate. He is a great musician from Tocantins, but lived many years in Goiania, Now he lives in Rio. He plays with many artists and he is presently playing with Lulu Santos. Very talent! Piano player, William Magalhaes, as you may know, is a very talent man, son of Oberdan Magalhaes - leader of the 1970's BBR. He had played with everyone in Brazil and he also produce many artists' cd such Marina Lima -a known pop singer. Trick, vocal and trumpt, a great young guy. Talent, well presented on teh stage, great voice. Vanderely Silva, percussion, son of a legend drumer, Robertinho Silva. Very talent, vey repsect in the Brazilian music scenario.
