Discussion: Aphex Twin A freind of mine called Karl used to live in Falmouth. Richard D James (A.K.A Polygon Window, AFX, Universal Indicator, Aphex Twin etc) was currently unheard of and had not yet been signed to A&S/R&S (I don't know, some European label before he founded Rephlex). Karl sent a mixtape back to Wales for me - AFX was the only thing written on this black analogue cassette and the material on it completely blew me away. I'm telling you; you don't get stuff like this come round a lot. If you want farty pop princesses, then that's fine. But if you want to broaden your horizons.
