I think Anima Sound System are fantastic. I lived in Hungary recently and heard them live a few times and was very impressed. I am Australian/Hungarian. I hope they come and play in Melbourne at some stage because we have a great music scene here and I know they would go down very well indeed.

They are what you think they are. Beautiful. At least, what they do is! I live in Bulgaria, as being Bulgarian. I've been interested in Hungary for a long time and as such I've been visiting the Hungarian Culture Insitute in Sofia where I found Anima Sound System's album "Anima". I loved it. I do love it. Perfect sounds...

Anima Sound System's sound is original, a mix of folk and modern sound, you cannot classify their sound, although there is a definate hungarian feel. I discovered them while living in Hungary (I'm now back in Montreal, Canada).
Although I've never seen them live, I've become a fan of theirs. I crave hearing them on many occasions and have initiated many Montrealers to their music, all of which loved them.
I predict that their success can only grow stronger (hopefully international fame will follow), considering their universal appeal.

I'm a girl from Hungary. I also love Anima! They are a very special band! I've been on their concerts and they were amazing! I can't tell you how amazing! You should watch them on a concert! I have all of their albums and i love all of them. I think the best is the Gipsy Soundclash, but Aquanistan is also pretty good!
