| Discussion: Andrew Wk Talk about A.W.K? Have you listened to "I Get Wet"? Their isn't a spoken word allowed on that CD, it shouldn't be allowed here. Andrew fell out of the intensity sky and hit a million adoring (and screaming) fans all the way down. I told my buddies to get tickets, the best they could come up with is Disturbed. I love Disturbed as much as the next guy, but i wanna get all riled up. Let's face it, sometimes Disturbed, well ..... they stop. We know as much isn't true with Andrew. Keep up the good lyrics with tasty ass guitar licks, the people are asking for it. Andrew is the most energenic and to the point music I've ever heard. I enjoy listening to it all the time. It gets me pumped up for all sorts of things. Before a party, after, or durring his music is the kind to listen to. Today in order to get a good party tape you need to mix it from different songs. On "I Get Wet" you don't need to do any of that. It is all good songs that can relate to any happy get-together. ("your song kicks ass!") I have good points for disliking him: hearing him in Michigan, reading his interviews, and having people who talk about him that are wired or incoherent or adreniline junkies spawned by watch waay too much Jackass. Last time I checked, this was a discussion forum, not a fanclub. I gave three valid points, no four - including the article, why I don't like his music. Have you even read the article? I haven't heard any response as of yet. And "looking for a fight"? Comon now, that's just silly. Why would I want to change your mind about AWK? You already like him. You know, to let them know that they can either spend their money on his album or give it to a local squatter to take a crap in your shoe. It's roughly about the same type of entertainment. Didn't I mention in my first post that there were plenty of other bands that could be supported instead of him?
