yeah ive been into anathema since the early 90s and they are the only band ive stuck with since then. I hope they make the status that they deserve. they are currently playing and writing new material so Vin tells me, after a fine day to exit I cannot wait for the next LP.
If anyone has pentescost III on vinyl for sale/trade email me as it is the only peice of vinyl that im missing by them.

Are we talking about what Anathema was, in the time of Pentecost, or what they are now. I did a show of them about two months ago, and was happy to see them again, but I do prefer their earlier work, when they were more metal then Pink Floyd.
Must say they are still a good band, but the last time was the last time for me... I have seen it...

I remember buying Eternity a few years ago and didn't think much about. I went back to it after a few years and wow! I was really touched. Seems I wasn't ready for that kinda emotion. I prefer their more progressive sounds vs the older Anathema. Only because I feel in progressive you are free from all standards and can truly play whats inside you.

Hi. I'm online again after a 2 week break and I've been listening to AFDTE and woooooo! Simply awesome and extremely emotional performance. Every song stands out but together they mesh sooo well. Beautiful stuff.

I've listening to Anathema since two Month ago and I can't leave them. they are in my brain and heart everyday.
They are Great.
and their lyrics are wonderfull.
some of their works are postmodern (like "release") and each time you listen to it, you discover some new meanings in them.
and music is so fitted in lyric that you can't say which one is more omportant that other.
there is so much things that I want to say but time is always against us.

anathema is a greek word. Has difficult meaning to translate it in english. i dare to say that it means : damned, cursed from divine, fallen from grace.
Their music is damned. I am damned. I am anathematismenos. As long as they give to me the pleasure to listen something new, i will be an anathematismenos.....
